Yorkshire Day

Yorkshire day has been celebrated in Rotherham as the official host for 2023.

Yorkshire Day was first celebrated in 1975 by the Yorkshire Ridings Society, which was formed a year earlier.

The celebration of God's Own County held annually on 1 August includes a parade of mayors, a new Yorkshire Pudding mural, and hat-throwing.
