Labour denied it will force businesses to allow staff to work a four-day week, following reports it is considering giving them the power to condense hours.

A working group set up by the Welsh Government has spent the last year considering the pros and cons of reducing weekly working schedules.

From Saturday, employees will have the legal right to request flexible working from their first day in a new job.
