The whistleblowers, who worked at West Lane hospital, say they raised concerns with management over patient safety, but were ignored, prior to patient deaths.

Christie Harnett, 17, from Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, and an unnamed woman, took their own lives whilst in mental health hospitals on Teesside.

Christie Harnett, 17, took her life in 2019. Patient X took hers in 2020. Their mums told ITV News how their care led a health trust to court for their deaths.
