Last night’s full council meeting heard from the council leader, who said he and his team had visited five of the schools in question for further talks.

The Downs School has raised half a million pounds - with the help of parents - that would go towards repairs.

Pupils were travelling to Downs School in the Berkshire village of Compton when the coach left the East Ilsley to Compton road on Tuesday (12 March).
