War Memorial

Campaigners in the Forest of Dean are raising money for a memorial to veterans of one of the fiercest battles of the Korean War.

Adeem Ahmed and Amaan Tariq, both 18, and a 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, used spray paint to vandalise the Rochdale Cenotaph in 2023.

The Trident and Aboukir memorials, near the Royal Naval Memorial, were built in honour of officers who died from yellow fever during service.
