Ventilator

Intersurgical, which operated 24 hours a day at the height of the coronavirus pandemic, is closing its site in Guernsey.

A non-invasive ventilator developed by Marshall Aerospace in Cambridge for those with respiratory failure is set to be rolled out for mass production.

Parents have expressed fears of infection, which may lead to potential hospital stays, long-term damage to the child’s health or death.
