After several failed attempts to import a stranded turtle to warmer waters, a Guernsey animal centre has finally found a way to send 'Barnacle Bill' home.

A Guernsey animal shelter is looking for a heated pool to keep a growing loggerhead turtle that washed up during Storm Ciarán while they sort export paperwork.

A Guernsey couple spotted a lost loggerhead turtle at Chouet, which are typically found in the warm Mediterranean waters.
