Dame Judi Dench has hit out at Suffolk County Council over its plans to cut funding for the arts sector, describing the decision as "heart-breaking".

Arts organisations have warned the cuts will be devastating but the council said it needed to prioritise services to the vulnerable.

The council admitted it was letting down children with special educational needs in 2021, and parents say they have not seen any improvements since.
