Strep A

An inquest has been opening into the death of Meha Carneiro from Sutton-in-Ashfield, who died at King's Mill Hospital on 5 December 2022.

Alex Lewis had four limbs amputated after contracting Strep A. He will travel alongside the doctor, plastic surgeon and artificial limb expert who helped him.

Reception children at Grouville School are being recommended antibiotics and a vaccine to treat Strep A and chickenpox.
