Residents of a part of Stalybridge devastated by a strong tornado have spoken of their disappointment at the local council response in the wake of the storm.

Around 100 homes have been damaged overnight in Tameside, due to Storm Gerrit.

A fake gun was seized. The boy was then arrested on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, police said.
