Neil Warnock, who has managed 15 different clubs over the past four decades, has come out of retirement to manage Aberdeen until the end of the season.

The Lowland League club would have been effectively relegated from the fifth tier of Scottish football.

The SPFL held a vote on Monday morning to see whether there was enough interest in altering the 14-10-10-10 format for next season.
