Smoking Ban

The Welsh Government says it's hoping for a stronger approach to tackling smoking when the Tobacco and Vapes Bill is reintroduced to Parliament this autumn.

Guernsey politicians want tougher laws on smoking and vaping to create a healthier environment for children after reports those as young as 11 are using them.

A new law would stop children who turn 14 this year and those younger from ever legally buying cigarettes or tobacco in England.
