Sir Mo Farah

Sir Mo Farah completed the Great North Run six times and it was his final race before retirement this year.

Farah, 40, completed the final race of his glittering athletics career as he greeted cheering crowds in South Shields.

The half marathon has been a mainstay in Sir Mo's racing calendar for a number of years, and he has won the event six times.
