Senedd Election 2021

Members of the Senedd will nominate Wales' First Minister on Wednesday with Mark Drakeford expected to continue in the role following Labour's election success.

Plaid Cymru's Adam Price said he will not resign as leader despite a disappointing Senedd election which saw his party slip into third.

Ms Asghar is the daughter of the late Mohammad Asghar, who was the first person from a BAME background to be elected to the Senedd.
