In an emotional tribute, the sanctuary said it was a 'difficult decision' to let Diego go.

The zoo has been home to sea lions for some 45 years, and had almost written off the possibility of getting a pup.

Buster was 26-years-old when he died at the Wiltshire safari park earlier this month.
