Scottish Budget

The Government announced a new tax bracket bringing the total tax brackets in Scotland to six.

Both councils have set out their annual budgets which both include a 3% rise.

Holyrood's Finance Secretary has insisted most Scots will pay less income tax next year, despite increasing charges for higher earners.
