River Deben

The man in his 80s was reported missing on Thursday morning, and officers found a body just before 1pm.

It means the site at Waldringfield near Woodbridge will be monitored on a regular basis so wild swimmers can be reassured that the water is safe.

Today saw one final trip down the River Deben for Suffolk vicar Rev John Waller.
