Denham Thomas had his first cigarette when he was 10 and his death was from a disease directly linked to tobacco. His family want to prevent others from dying.

The States is aiming to reduce the number of smokers to less than 10% by 2028 - it was 13% the last time the figures were calculated in 2018.

As covid cases continue to rise, doctors in Jersey say giving up smoking has never been so important.
