The Grade II listed site will be designed to attract new visitors, support youth work and community use.

Around 30,000 people are expected across the two days, enjoying free water sports, music and activities.

Millions of pounds will be spent on improving the environment and preserving the area’s heritage, with more than half coming from the Heritage Fund.
