Palm Oil

It appeared at Perranporth beach and was spotted by a dog walker who said the lump was 'like a boulder'.

Beaches in Northumberland were closed over the weekend after suspected palm oil was washed up on the shore.

The local council said a three year-old dog is believed to have died after eating palm oil at Newgale beach.
