Budget squeezes have led Northumberland Council to consider new proposals on how to operate their key cultural landmarks and museums.

The new Northumbria line has faced long delays sparking the council to undertake a "lessons learnt" report.

The deputy leader of Northumberland County Council says the line could be extended to Newbiggin, with further stations added to the line in future.
