Officers are asking for anyone with information to come forward after they were handed the ashes of a woman at Northallerton Police Station.

Rachel Smith lost her brother to pancreatic cancer, the same disease suffered by her father.

The boy driving the stolen vehicle was thrown from it, before being hit by another car. He died from his injuries.
