Bones and traces of clothing thought to date back to the 14th century were found during resurfacing work in Richmond.

The actor, from York, has joined calls to protect almost a dozen trees which would be cut down if plans for an £8m annexe near the city cathedral are approved.

Pods will be sent to specialist recycling plants and will be transformed into new products such as packaging, car components and building products.
