The option allows patients to be given hospital equipment at their home where they can be monitored remotely by healthcare professionals.

The hospital in Whitehaven has seen 40 per cent of the old building replaced with new, state-of-the-art facilities.

The practice has given notice that they will end their NHS contract and will stop providing NHS dental care from the end of the month.
