Five NHS hospitals so far are taking part in the £2.5 million clinical trial thanks to funding from the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation.

As part of the campaign, the parents of Natasha Ednan-Laperouse - who died after a severe allergic reaction - visited a primary school in Walthamstow.

Tanya Ednan-Laperouse and Emma Turay have told Health Secretary Steve Barclay that their daughters’ deaths “were entirely preventable”.
