MAST says this is the country’s most important collections of artefacts from shipwrecks in the UK.

The museum closed over Covid and has now had a big revamp, with around a million objects on display.

Dating from 1000-800 BCE, the hoard is made up of more than 500 bronze and organic pieces that have laid undisturbed for more than 3,000 years.
