Mumps

Health bosses are calling on parents and guardians to ensure their children are up to date with the MMR vaccine, and all other routine childhood immunisations.

There were 5,042 recorded cases of mumps in England in 2019 – four times the number in 2018.

Public Health England is investigating reports of a number of cases at the school.
