Micropubs

A Broadstairs micropub has been named one of the best four pubs in the country by the Campaign for Real Ale.

It might be small, but the owners of Rutherfords, in Kelso, say it's going to be "so much more than a pub". It opens in Kelso this evening.

"Micropubs" are taking off in a big way in the Midlands at a time when eighteen pubs a week are closing in the UK.
