West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at 2.43am to the M6 Junction 12 South to a collision involving a car and a HGV.

The carriageway is currently closed between junctions 13 (Dunston) and junction 12 (Cannock) while police investigate the crash.

M6 southbound closed due to three-vehicle crash

 Emergency services are working at the scene on the M6 near Coventry, in a response being led by Warwickshire Police.

All three lanes on the motorway are now open again.

The crash involved a van and car on the M6 northbound.

A collision on the M6 has caused the road between junctions 15 and 16 to close, with drivers told to take diversions. 

Officers were called at 2.59pm on 15 October to a report of a two-vehicle collision on the M6 between junctions 35 and 36 northbound.
