For the family of two-year-old Jaxon Barnes, the last year has been one of extreme stress and sleepless nights.

Scans have been carried out at GP practices, addiction recovery services, food banks, diabetes clinics, sexual health clinics and homeless shelters.

Diagnosing cancer currently requires surgery, an ultrasound scan or blood tests.
