Lighthouses

Whitehaven's West Pier lighthouse has been unveiled after work extensive work such as replacing the roof structure and windows and exterior repainting.

It's hoped two Victorian buildings can be taken back to their former glory.

It's got to be one of the rarest jobs in the country - the role of helping maintain the region's lighthouses is up for grabs
