Legion Of Honour

A 98-year-old RAF veteran has been awarded the Legion D'Honneur for his involvement in the liberation of France during the Second World War.

Former soldier, 92-year-old Len Smith from Gloucester, has been given one of France's top honours for his part in the liberation of Europe

A 96 year old D-Day survivor was honoured in a special ceremony. He was presented with the Legion D'Honneur.
