Landslip

The Clarence Battery steps will reopen after a landslip closed the pathway for more than four years. The project has been described as "anything but routine".

A flood warning and two flood alerts are in place for areas of the Isle of Wight after a landslip closed a road.

Chiltern Railways issued a “do not travel” alert as the line is not expected to reopen until 7am on Tuesday, causing major disruption to journeys.
