Knee Surgery

An aspiring footballer has become one of the first young people in the UK to benefit from a new type of reconstructive ACL knee surgery.

Rob Martinez, from Bracknell, is waiting for both knees to be replaced. He's been told there's "zero chance" of it taking place this year.

Sharon Branley was discharged from the hospital's new Orthopaedics centre on the same day as having a full knee replacement.
