The man was found floating on his back after being in the water for an hour

Firefighters used a ladder from a truck and a boat to pull the man out after he became stranded on a pile of debris.

A group of kayakers had to be rescued by the coastguard yesterday when they got into difficulty off Old Harry Rocks near Poole Bay.
