Inspirational Women

A Blue Plaque has been unveiled on Guernsey's Le Platon Home for its founder - Edith Renouf MBE - who donated all her personal wealth to the residential home.

If successful, Cat Burford will become one of only a handful of women to cross the South Pole unsupported.

Lady Rhondda's statue will also feature the hands of around 40 women from Newport joined in a circle.
