Housing Inquiry

An independent review into social housing will call for an audit of all 2.5 million homes in England including for damp and mould, ITV News understands.

Chair of the Committee Clive Betts thanked ITV News' investigation into the social housing sector, which he said had forced MPs to launch their own inquiry. 

A planning inspector will begin hearing the arguments for an against a housing development today.
