Darren Roxby was ordered to pay almost £2,000 after he was caught on CCTV dumping the waste at Gravel Walks near Houghton Le Spring.

Leighton Mileson, who died after crashing into a tree, was described as his family as a "beautiful lad".

Police were called to Burdon Lane near the A690 before 10:30pm on Thursday 29 February after receiving a report of a one-vehicle collision.
