Homebase employees in Northern Ireland have escaped losing their jobs after the company reveal plan to axe stores across the UK and ROI.

The latest restructuring would come on top of an earlier store closure programme.

Homebase plans to go ahead with more store closures which could put up to 2,000 jobs at risk.
