Historic Sites

Among the sites added to the register include a 15th-century school which was the target of an arson attack in the 1900s and a Victorian six-sail windmill.

Caerphilly Council's cabinet has agreed to mothball the attraction - which costs £485,000 annually to run.

The changes mean that landowners may need to seek permission to carry out work on the sites.
