Heywood

Will Place, 23, was died at the scene after the car he was driving erupted into flames after it ploughed into a pub in Heywood.

Police say the driver of the vehicle failed to stop for a marked car and a short pursuit took place, before the decision was made to stop.

Emergency services and at least one fire engine responded to the incident, and investigations into what caused the fire is still being carried out.
