Filton Airfield

The Brabazon was designed to be the 'ocean liner of the sky' and helped lay the foundations for the world's first suspersonic passenger jet, Concorde.

The Communities Secretary has given final approval for a huge arena and entertainment complex to be built on Filton Airfield in Bristol.

Designs have been released of what the arena for Bristol could look like if it is built on the old Filton Airfield site.
