Empty Homes

Compulsory purchasing powers could be used to bring empty homes back onto the market, according to Jersey's Housing Minister.

Jersey's Housing Minister has unveiled steps to reduce the number of unoccupied properties on the island, including creating a new Empty Homes Service.

There are 40,000 empty homes in the North West - according to a new report. The NHF says much of it isn't suitable for occupancy.
