Earthquakes

The US Geological Survey reported a quake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.8, centered near Lebanon, New Jersey.

Aid and security agencies are being urged to reach areas hit by the quake as soon as possible, with many people thought to be trapped under building debris.

It follows a devastating earthquake in June 2022, which killed at least 1,000 people.
