Drugs Smuggling

Fabio Candido Simoes, 35, from Portugal, was sentenced to six years in prison for attempting to smuggle 61.32g of heroin to Jersey.

Marshall Scurfield, 22, has been jailed for four years for arranging the delivery from the Netherlands, which had an estimated street value of £140,000.

Eighteen members of the international organised crime group (OCG) have been convicted of importing heroin, cocaine and cannabis to the UK over two years.
