Officers were called to Erewash Canal in Ilkeston at around 3pm on Friday (March 5) following reports of a body near to a canal path.

It follows an incident when two woman drove to a nearby reservoir for a walk with hot drinks, and were fined.

It measures a whopping 42 metres long and will be at the Long Gallery in the house for people to sign until December 22nd.
