Lilly Wheeler, 14, from Faringdon, has qualified for next month's World Junior Darts Championships in Gibraltar.

The teenager powered to an 11-4 triumph in the final after seeing off home favourite Michael van Gerwen by the same scoreline in his semi-final hours earlier.

The 17-year-old top seed triumphed 8-3 at the PreZero Arena in Gliwice with a three-dart average of 101.84 to cap a fine day’s work.
