A young Somerset family face Christmas in a hotel room after being moved out of their damp and mouldy flat for a second time this year.

Safirah Umarji and her husband, Nathan John, say the problems at their rented flat has left them stressed to the point it has impacted their relationship.

Newcastle City Council agreed on Monday 21 February to impose the increase for thousands of renters living in Your Homes Newcastle (YHN) properties.
