An inquest into the death of David Carpenter, 60, who was crushed after becoming trapped in a refuse lorry in Coventry, has concluded it was accidental.

A member of the public became abusive towards parking wardens and physically assaulted one of them after seeing a ticket on his van.

More than 40 drivers have voted to take strike action by a margin of 74%.
