Council Budget

Councils across the Midlands have warned Angela Rayner that the majority do not expect to meet their budget targets for the next financial year.

The council says it has faced financial pressures and shortfalls like other councils, which has led it to make "tough choices" about its priorities.

It says many of the factors that are causing financial issues for households are affecting local government.
